Mainstream turn-on imagery we're dealing with here is predictably leather, rubber, PVC, uniforms, authority figures and a paraphernalia of control / restraint. There are sharp contrasts to be enjoyed even within that limited list:
slinky latex or heavy industrial rubber; elegant stiletto heels or the heavy-soled work boots; head-to-foot in glamorous body-hugging PVC or layer-on-layer of motorcycle rain-gear; teased with a feather or whipped till the blood runs.
